September 22 is the feast of Blessed Luigi Maria Monti, the founder of Father Joy’s order – The Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception (CFIC).

Prayer to Blessed Luigi Maria Monti
Almighty Ever-living God, you have enabled Blessed Monti through your divine love to consecrate his life for taking care of the sick and assisting the orphan and needy children.
Help us to imitate his great humility and filial devotion to the Immaculate Virgin.
Strengthen us to be compassionate towards the sick and suffering.
Grant that we may be inspired by the tender love of God, to commit ourselves in works of charity, like him.
Let his example strengthen us in our spiritual journey to grow in daily holiness.
Let his intercession help us to get healed of our ailments.
He, who surrendered to the will of God at the moments of trials and tribulations, comfort us in our sorrows.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen
